Poor customer service

Experience was overall okay! The hotel was small but perfect for somewhere to rest our heads. The hotel was in walking distance to time square, many restaurants, and activities. The customer service/communication was not good. It took the hotel an hour before we could get our car from valet. One time we called to get valet and no one answered at the front desk. The second time we called they told us it would be an hour before we got the car. When we went down the car was not there and the front desk person had no idea what we were talking about and it took another hour until we got the car.

First trip to new york. Spent 4 nights here and had no issues at all. Place was solid. Great location. Manage your expectations, this isn't a 5 star hotel. Everything we did was a short walk. Whether to the nearby subway station, bus station or right in the middle of times square. Touria welcomed us with open arms, and early check in. That wasnt expected but it was amazing nontheless. All the rest of the staff was friendly and attentive to the property as well. We received daily text messages to ensure all of our needs were being met as well. Will definately stay again

The hotel was just okay. The room itself was worn and in need of a renovation. The furniture was pretty banged up. The AC worked well albeit very loud. The beds were way too hard and uncomfortable and one of them had a "sinkhole". Details overlooked such as the toilet paper holder was loose on the wall. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pancakes were left under the heat lamps making them so hard that the plastic knife and fork wouldn't cut it. Our second morning we went out for breakfast. There are some really good qualities. The water temp and pressure in the shower were awesome. Plenty of hot water. The staff is fantastic. I wish I could remember the girl's name at the desk who was wonderful. She was always smiling and happy to help us navigate times square and the subway. I swear, she was a godsend. All in all, not terrible, not great. But our experience with the staff really saved it and I don't regret staying there.

This was a great location if you are going to Times Square. It also is fairly close to the subway station. The elevator was fast, there are only 6 rooms per floor, and the hallways were quiet. We go to NYC often to see theater performances on Broadway. I would not book again through Expedia, but I would stay at this hotel again. The prices dropped $250 since I book our weekend stay.. I called customer service prior to our stay and I was told they would do a price match guarentee and someone from Expedia would get back with me within 24 - 72 hours. I did not hear back from them. Next time, I will book directly with the hotel. They would have adjusted the price, but since it was booked through Expedia, they said I had to go through Expedia for the price adjustment. I am still waiting to get a response from Expedia, and I am planning a return trip to NYC in July.

We really enjoyed this property - clean, mostly quiet (for NYC), great variety for breakfast. You're still considered 'in' Times Square because of the proximity to it, but you're not in the middle where it would be noisy at all times. The hotel was clean and well cared for, the staff was lovely, we felt safe walking the area, and overall we enjoyed our stay! Theres also a mexican and burger place - 2 hole in the wall restaurants - around the corner on 8th that were tasty!
