The staff was rude upon checking in. Definitely did not feel vip at this hotel with the way they spoke to us; very unpleasant and spoke in a condescending manner. The room situation was not inviting because the pull out bed would barely fit the size of the arra and you can see there are previous scratch marks on the walls due to the bed not fitting properly. Overall the room was okay only because it was a good location close to food and shopping.

The good part is location is great, safe and rooms are good. My not so good experience was- Our queen suite sofa area smelled of urine, when I complained the cleaning staff just sprayed some room spray and said that they didn’t smell anything. The young bellboy wasn’t helpful.

Having stayed in numerous Manhattan hotels over the years, this wouod have to be my first choice - the street is quiet (by NYC standards), close to transport terminals and sights. The decor and furnishings of the hotel are modern and pleasing; the service superb. Thank you to staff who made the stay so enjoyable.

Cleanliness was average. Staff was friendly at check in. Continental breakfast was poor—just some prepackaged muffins. Biggest issue is that the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night and we couldn’t get the room cooler than 76 degrees. Hardly slept at all. Was only one night stay so no opportunity to change rooms at 3:30 am or do anything about it. Property is expensive and after that wouldn’t stay here again. Check out was abrupt and no opportunity to mention at that time (and expectation to be told there’s nothing they can do due to third party booking through Hotels.com)

I wouldn't describe this as a luxury hotel. It's on par with a Holiday inn. The room was small and unimpressive, the elevators are slow and the continental breakfast was little more than vending machine fare.
