This is not a 4 start hotel but the staff was nice and check in was quick. The room was much smaller than expected and my small windows (nothing like the big floor to ceiling windows like in the pictures) were facing a brick wall 20-30ft away with apartment windows facing mine so I kept the curtains closed. The bathroom floor grout, shower grout, and paint around the doors and floorboards were chipping and the building had a weird smell. There were also a lot of stains on the carpets in the hallway which smelled old but with an industrial cleaner scent. The mini fridge was also leaking water on the inside and there was a clear tray inside to catch it so I had to figure out spacing for leftovers. One of my bedside lights also stopped working the second day. The heating was extremely loud but worked really well. I was too tired to complain or move rooms and only stayed two nights but unfortunately I won’t be coming back to this hotel.

The hotel unfortunately is not as pictured. The rooms are tired dated, shabby and grubby in places. I would not rate this a 4 star hotel. It’s in need of a refurbishment. The staff are friendly and helpful with daily maid service which you’d expect. Bed was comfortable and sheets clean but towels are not luxurious and the ones we got on a daily basis where threadbare in places. This is not IHG 4 star in UK standards.
