It's a basic hotel, in the Financial District, near wall street and the staten island ferry. It was clean, we had plenty of towels & coffee. And a warm cookie on arrival. No frills. As our room was on 43rd floor it took a while to get up and down each morning & evening. With everyone fighting for the lifts. It was labour day weekend so maybe busier than usual. I remember when you'd get a midtown hotel for the price. Things have changed. On a budget I'd say it was good.

I really liked the location. It was within walking distance of the main spots. However, one thing I didn’t like was that when I booked my room, along with options like Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, it also showed breakfast. But when I got there, I found out breakfast wasn’t included and had to be paid for separately. That was disappointing. If it’s not part of the package, why show it as if it is?
