Room was clean, AC worked well and the hot water worked. Otherwise a somewhat frustrating stay. TV in our room was broken, half of the screen basically had no color. Asked them to fix it, didn’t happen even though I was there for five nights. No exhaust fan in the bathroom which seemed odd. Elevators were a pain, almost missed a dinner reservation one night because we were waiting on an elevator for fifteen to twenty minutes. Location is convenient and some of the staff are very nice, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My friend and I had a one night stay at Aliz Hotel for a short trip to NY. The hotel is conveniently located near the Times Square subway entrance and roughly a 10-15 minutes walk to Moynihan train station. The rooms were exactly as advertised and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The rooftop bar was fantastic too - it gave a speakeasy vibe. It was raining and foggy that night, but I imagine the view is decent during clear weather. Overall, Aliz was a great locationand stay.

My nephew his girlfriend and I stayed just overnight, because we were in the city for a concert The hotel is very cute and was really close to NY Times Square, so easy to walk to things. The only thing I would tell people is that the Street It’s located didn’t feel safe.

So-so place to stay.

Lobby was nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming. You get two free welcome drinks and $25 to spend in the hotel. The elevators are awful! So very slow and very small. We actually had to carry our luggage down the stairs because we could not get an elevator. When they would stop they were always full. Also, the rooms were pretty small even for NYC standards. Also, the bed frame would move even with a slight touch. We were contently losing our pillows because the bed wasn't by the wall anymore. Also, the outside area was a little rough. Maybe due to the location being near the bus terminal. Overall, hotel was clean and nice. Would stay again if it was in a better part of town.
