Old but cute boutique Hotel. The air-conditioning unit was not working in my room at first. But after bringing it to the attention of the front desk, they were able to rectify the problem quickly.

Good location for walking to all the things I had going on (conference at the convention center, meetings at the Hilton Riverside, private dinner at the WWII museum). Breakfast staff was great! Rooms were spacious with all the necessary amenities. There was one morning I did not have hot water for my shower. Overall though, I’d stay here again!

The room was cleaned only once in the 7 days I stayed there. Didn’t haven't hot water run out of shower at 7 am Wednesday of my stay. Other than that it was good.

The bedrooms were uncomfortably cold. Upon check-in, the air conditioning was running despite outdoor temperatures being in the 30s. Although we were able to switch rooms, the alternative room presented additional issues—the television was not functioning, and the room was even colder than the first.

First of all, the location was amazing for the convention center. Going to the tourist attractions is about a 15 minute walk. It is doable if you are up for the walk. It is about 1 mile away. The hotel itself is just fabulous. The bed was comfortable, the record player in the room complete with jazz vinyls were an astounding inclusion! I listened to the record player before bed and when I woke up. Bathrooms were roomy and staff were great. Breakfast was good - regular scrambled eggs, granola bars, yogurt cups, plain bagels, toast, bacon, sausage, potato’s, a toaster if you need, cereal and milk, and coffee/capuccino/latte machine. Front desk staff were attentive. They don’t do daily room service but I don’t care for it. Loved it here and would consider this hotel again for sure. Oh and kf curious about the cabs - I used lyft and jt was about $10 one way to Bourbon/French Quarter area.
