Wifi wasn't working during my 4 day stay. Room itself was great... very clean, spacious, lots of outlets in good spots. Breakfast was 6.5/10. Staff was quite polite. My room and floor were pretty quiet, although from wandering, others were not as lucky. NOLA has a lot of homelessness and crime, and this is right downtown, so I wouldn't recommend for women traveling alone. Internal security is decent, keycard required to enter lobby and work elevator.

The door guy and the front desk man were so friendly and enjoyable to engage with. After we checked in we noticed our tv didn’t work and after they attempted to fix it they immediately upgraded us to a family suite with working tvs. There was construction going on but we couldn’t hear it in our room. The bed was comfy and the amenities were unexpectedly nice!

So, trip ok. Room great.. valet not so good. Supposedly they didn’t write a ticket for our car on the day we arrived. Find that hard to believe because we asked for our car on Sunday and they got our car first time around. Second time took almost 45 mins. Said they didn’t have access to get the car. Finally got it… got a notification for my credit card. Get ready….. I was charged 269.35 for I’m not sure what. 100.00 was for ensidentials and that parking 45 a night would come off that… ok cool… Saturday was charged 43.99 they can’t tell me WHY…. Then at midnight Monday morning charged 125.99…. Can’t tell me why….. room was paid in full before we got here… so was told come back 8a the manger will be in then… like really… what is the money missing for. CHECK YOUR STAY AND PAYMENT AND HOW MUCH U ARE BEING CHARGED.

The valet service was slow and insecure. Our car stayed in front of the hotel on a busy street with the engine running for almost 22 minutes unattended.. The kitchen sink was broken when we got into the room, with no chance of maintenance helping us and at around 9 pm we were offered another room but by then we were already unpacked and situated. For such a nice hotel, I expect everything to be working and Wi-Fi was not available with no possibility of it being fixed till the next day when we were checking out. When we went to check out and get our car from the valet, we waited for almost 40 minutes while the valet stood around. We even checked with the desk twice about the delay and they just told us they had told the valet it was needing to be picked up and no one did anything. Just really disappointed in the experience considering it look like a very nice hotel and the centre of New Orleans.

See the star rating. Just not Taj Mahal. Too many thugs and shady people in check in. A/c does not work. WiFi does not work. No business center. No fitness center. No swimming pool. No lobby. No granite counter front desk. No carpeted stairways taking the stairs. The kitchen was filthy. The dishwashing detergent was tampered with. The crap on the counter next to Magnolia Trace toaster.

When I arrived at the hotel they requested a 100USD deposit, which I paid and they advised would be returned. We booked out yesterday and I asked if it had been refunded, they said yes. It has not been refunded. Furthermore I have had two further deductions against my card; Sept 25th @ 9.10 for 54.95 USD and Sept 26th @ 9.08 for 75.39 USD My rooms were all paid for in advance and I did not incur any other expenditure; Please investigate and arrange refund for these sums. Thank you.

The property didn't have any Internet (WiFi), the property has limited food options within walking distance, the property is on one of the busiest streets in CBD -- next to Tulane University Hospital -- loud sirens throughout the night... And lastly, across the street from the property are hundreds of unhoused people laying on the street.
