The room was good for one night's stay. Bed was really comfortable just not a fan of the feather pillows. New Orleans is historic and so was the hotel just could use some updates. The shower curtain didn't fit in the shower so there was water every where from taking showers. If i every port or of New Orleans again I'd try a different place. Quiet for the area and 4 minutes to the French quarter.

Good location but terrible customer service

Location was good and room was spacious and good but isolation was terrible. it was very noisy (close to a main road) and you could hear everything from the room next door…. In addition I had an issue with reception regarding leaving my suitcase on check out. I contacted the hotel several times but never got a response….

Good location but....

Good location, the hotel itself was pretty. There is no elevator so if you are on the 3rd floor like we were be prepared to lug your bags up 2 flights of steps. Front desk personnel was mostly friendly, one guy not so much and he was there for most of our stay. Rooms are nice enough, pretty small, not a lot of space, no fridge, no safe, no full length mirror, but the bed was comfy. There is on-site parking which was a plus. Overall it's a decent hotel and the price was right especially for Jazzfest weekend.

SCARY!

First of all, this is not a MARRIOTT courtyard (my mistake). From the outside is very scary literally homeless people laying on the sidewalk. I have pictures, zero curb appeal and never found the signage for the hotel.Only stairs. WORST OF ALL never received an answer when calling the front desk for Complaints/concerns such as people screaming, and yelling and pounding on doors FELT VERY UNSAFE and very disrespected. Road noise was almost unbearable! They only allow one key with out $25.00 deposit, poor policy!!! We Won’t ever return!

Convenient area. Courtyard was nice. Showers took forever to get warm. On our last day we had a cockroach in our room and weird black bugs crawling the walls, that was a big NO THANKS for us.

The hotel itself was nice but our experience was horrible. There were people fighting outside our door , yelling and screaming. Then it stopped and continues again all night from 2am until 7am they would not stop talking loudly , yelling, cussing and it made us feel unsafe. I called the front desk to make a noise complaint and they said they would call. I don’t know if they ever did because the loud talking, yelling and cussing lasted for many more hours.

Property is only three blocks north of Bourbon Street, which is its greatest plus. Certainly you’d expect to make some accommodations for an old, converted property, but the run-down quality of the surrounding area, the lack of modern amenities (room fridge??), and the very spartan room layout were a bit too much. That said, if you enjoy properties that seem haunted, balanced by the joyful noise of 5-yr olds playing in the courtyard pool RIGHT outside your door, then this is the place for you. Room was clean and almost all of the staff were polite and helpful. Extra $35/day to self-park your rental on the property.

Decent lovely stay

It was fine! A basic room, the tv channels didn’t work sometimes and there wasn’t a dresser in the room. But the staff was lovely and the housekeeping was on top of things! Also the shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep the water from going onto the floor. The bed was firm but comfortable and the light was gorgeous. The pool was stunning and never too crowded and easy to have guests over
