Ridiculous Fees,DO NOT BOOK HERE

The Damage deposit which was not posted on anything prior to me arriving at the hotel was literally 4 times the rate of my room so I ended up having nowhere to stay last night. I was told upon booking the room online that I would have to pay $35 which was fine then when I arrived I was asked to pay $285 and my room was only $68. I’m appalled and honestly offended as a guest as I just stayed at a 4 star hotel last week where I wasn’t hit with any surprise fees and was able to actually stay in the room that I paid for instead of the bus station like I was forced to do last night. I would NEVER book with this hotel again and will make sure that no one that I know does either.

Your room is only cleaned if you request it to be cleaned 24 hours in advance. The issue with this is, it isn’t an automatic question, and they never answer the phones. They charge an additional $35 resort fee however none of those amenities are up to par and between these not being accessible and the room dirty the entire time I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. The staff has a nasty attitude which will take a separate review in itself

The parking attendant was fantastic. The ady work the front desk at night was great. The morning staff is not as good good. I was waiting for the brunch to open and the phone must have rang 10x before she answered. She was to busy talking to her friend. But other then that it was a nice stay.

Cleanliness lacking but Joseph saved the day!

Excellent service by everyone at this hotel. The cleanliness was lacking though. We found a whole bunch of hair in the bathroom and on our bed sheets. The attention to detail while cleaning this suite was not good. We also did not haave a working AC unit. It got really hot in our room. We propped the door open to get some cold air from the hallway in, and Joseph from maintenance walked by and knew right away that we were having trouble with our AC. He offered to look at it and fixed it on the spot! Thank you to Joseph! The rest of our stay was nice after he fixed our AC and we cleaned our own room.

My overall review would be 1/5! Check in time is 3pm. Arrived at 430pm. Got checked in at 6pm because the room was not ready. When asked if they could compensate for the late check in, she said she could cancel my room if I wanted that but would charge me full amount anyway. WTH! What kind of customer service is that?? The staff who checked me in was nice. It was a different staff who said she would charge me if I wanted to cancel. That was her offer to me when I asked about the compensation (to cancel my room). Then she compensated me one ticket for a free drink at the bar worth $10. When I inquired about a late check out for 1 hour at 12pm, I was told no even though I got checked in later 3 hours late. I paid full price but got 6 hours. TV in living room didn't work even after someone came to fix it. It worked then didn't work again after it was turned off and on later. I didn't bother asking them to fix it again. Pull out couch mattress was disgusting.1/4 of it had blood stain all over like someone was murdered there. Absolutely disgusting. It belongs in the trash; I couldn't sleep on that filthy mattress! Lobby bathroom had no paper towels all 5 days that we stayed there. I used the bathroom there daily. The staff seem nice except one. Will never book there again and will definitely not recommend it to others. I don't think they will give a damn if I had complained about the bloody mattress or the towel issue in the lobby bathroom so I didn't bother reporting it

We booked this hotel for Saint Patrick’s weekend. Pros: -Rooms were clean and bed were comfortable -Zero lack of a hot shower! Hot showers were amazing at anytime -We are a fan of cold rooms at night. It did not disappoint. -Walking distance from Canal Street, approximately 3 blocks -Walking distance from Bourbon street -The Breakfast restaurant, Commerce Diner across the street is amazing -Valet was extremely nice and welcoming -The welcome desk ladies were informative and welcoming Cons: -VERY noisy! -Walls are thin, you can hear the person flushing the toilet in the room next door -Room attendants did not clean or make up beds, they just refresh towels. -Breakfast is served 7:30am-10am EXCEPT weekdays. They stop at 9am Which we were never told. So we missed breakfast for one of our stays. -The breakfast staff are beyond rude! It was like pulling teeth when asking for more milk or bagels -The bathroom door did not have a lock and could not close in -We asked for extra pillows and blanket for the pull out bed, it took then 4 reminders! -The claimed they ran out of pillows and limited blankets

The staff and hotel location was the best part of our staff. The room wasn't fully clean. There were crunched up chips left in the window area. Floors looked as if they needed to be vacuumed around the base boards. The fridge didn't get all that cold. Water gets really hot but the pressure is very low. Breakfast was a disappointment!!! There were very little variety: self-made waffles, flat round sausage, scrambled eggs, 2 types of cereal & milk, bread and bagels, water, tea, and coffee. The juice machine was broken and there were no substitutes available. Morning of check out we were greeted with a "water bug" aka cockroach.
