Staff was outstanding! We received a warm welcome and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean, accessible to all local attractions. Everyone we came in contact with provided top notch customer service. Can't recommend this gem of a hotel enough. We fell in love with it immediately! We will definitely be back on our next visit.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, whenever I visit New Orleans, I will be staying here. The staff are amazing and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay great. The hotel is conveniently located, you can walk to many attractions and activities. The hotel is so cute and clean. Treat yourself to a balcony room, it was the best! The pool was nice for a midday break when it got hot.

All of the staff were extremely pleasant. Our room was nice enough, but we got the worst of the worst view from our window. It was a view of all the electrical equipment on the rooftop. That's all we could see. I was really bummed. The tile in the shower looked brand new. We had to point the shower head towards the tile otherwise it soaked the floor. The shower doors do not keep the water in. We had a clogged toilet and asked the front desk for a plunger. They never brought it. My husband spent hours trying to get it unclogged. We heard no street noise from our room. There were some noisy guests who were way too loud at 2:00 a.m. It was walking distance to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and the river.

Valet parking is there on the property. You don’t have to wait for them to go blocks away to get your car. That’s wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful except for the man checking us in. He barely spoke except when he kept “messing up” on the computer trying to check us in.

The hotel was super clean. The front desk was very friendly, saying hello to us everytime they saw us. Its in a great location, its walking distance from everything but just slightly off the main path making it a little more private.

Haunted fun.

My room was very haunted and i loved every minute. It was very hard to not take a pillow home. In fact i had to strip the pillow to see what brand they were to order once i got home. Hotel St. Marie—An all-around great place to stay.

This was our first trip to New Orleans, and we found Hotel St. Marie to be situated in a very convenient location for us. It was close enough to Bourbon & Decatur Streets, while also being on the quieter side. It made it easy for us to pop in and out as needed, to drop off our purchases and/or grab a quick respite. The pool was enticing, but we never had the opportunity to enjoy it since our stay was very brief. Great to observe that the staff was diligently refreshing the paint in the lobby, while still making it simple for guests to navigate the area. Adding room darkening curtains would be our recommendation, along with a better fitting door to block out the light from the hallway. We love a super-dark sleeping experience and did our best to re-create it with pillows and towels, but it didn’t quite measure up. I have already recommended Hotel St. Marie to a friend who will be traveling to New Orleans for her first time next month. We found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the hotel’s location and amenities. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful and memorable visit!
