Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Pillows are too flat. Air at 65 degrees felt more like 73 degrees. Self Parking is $30 per night and parking garage is extremely small, tight spaces; i would not take a big suv or truck in parking garage.

Checked in late, went to bed, mattress was SOAKED on 1/2. It was gross. We were able to switch rooms the next morning. Shuttle driver, Tony was awesome. Shuttle was very convenient.

My husband and I booked room 840 but when we entered, the musty smell and heaviness of the air was overwhelming. We requested a room change and were moved to 828 and the smell was the same. I have to assume that most the rooms smell like that…? I noticed the bathrooms don’t have fans. Maybe that’s the issue. I was also disappointed in the amount of disposable items used in the hotel. :(

We had a nice spacious room, and they do have a decent happy hour and breakfast buffet. The reason for the low rating is due to the garage with terrible parking and very narrow lanes. The walls are scarred due to cars scrapping by them. The towels need to be replaced as they feel like sandpaper. We stopped at the front desk and asked for softer towels. The clerk brought a large stack for us to choose better towels, but there were none. The shower dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel had no product in them. The shuttle service leaves a lot to desired. The drivers we encountered were very nice, but wait times can be very long. We used the shuttle service only to get places and used Uber to return. We had an experience where we were told we would be picked up in 15-20 minutes. It was 28 degrees and we still had not been picked up after waiting 40 minutes. One last point is they do not even offer a complimentary bottle of water. You would think with a bill for 2 nights over $500 they could afford a bottle of water. It is just a nice thoughtful touch that makes a guest feel a little more appreciated.

The staff at Embassy Suites Vanderbilt is exceptional starting with front desk, housekeeping, wait staff (both at breakfast and restaurant), manager that came around at reception each evening clearing away plates, and especially the shuttle drivers. This was our second visit to this hotel and I’m glad to see that they remain committed to providing an enjoyable experience.

The shuttle service to shopping and entertainment district was amazing and so convenient. The free daily breakfast was extensive, not the cold cereal and yogurt type. There was hot breakfast items like waffles, French toast, pancakes and they even had made to order omelettes. I loved it. Every evening has the Managers social event, with free snacks and beverages. Great place to stay. I would certainly come back to Embassy Suites Vanderbilt
