For a new traveller, using the QR code to check in and having to check in at a different address to the venue was a bit of a challenge. I couldn't find the check in address to check out and the process was a bit daunting. There were many people who were unaware of the requirement to provide a EU200 security deposit that would not be refunded until two weeks after checking out and were upset about the rule.

I didn't read the other reviews closely, and I thought they were simply describing a cheap hotel. This was far worse. The policies of this hotel are scam-adjacent, and everyone I met who was staying there was very unhappy with their treatment. They refused to give me the room I booked (different address and different amenities)
The check in is very far away from the actual lodging place, not to mention check in people were extremely rude. The place wasn't clean and they wouldn't give back deposit for some reason. Felt like scam.

Room was nice. Check-in is a inconvenient process.
I booked the day before. After locating the property from a back alley. Standing at the 3rd floor doorway, there was only a locked door and a qr code to scan. No staff, no reception, nothing. A staff member happened to arrive and unlocked the door but refused me entry. It was about 12:30 and she communicated 3pm check in. I tried to convey that my phone could not access the qr link and asked if i could leave my 50 kilos of baggage. I was told no, which is very unusual.
I returned at 3 pm to find the exterior doors to the building closed and locked. I buzzed, called the # for assistance, attempted to message, without success. There is no onsite staff or assistance.
Later at another accommodation and with wifi assistance, I located emails regarding remote check in procedure (probably what the qr link would have explained, if I'd had wifi to be able to access it).
All staff, reception, and service are not on site and are remote. I was not aware I was required to access email, to check in. This process is new to me, foreign and frustrating.
I've requested a refund and this is the 3rd day that I have not seen an email reply. Good thing this email reply isn't the check in process, it wouldn't have arrived until after my stay is over!
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! SCAM ALERT! I checked out May 28th, and it is now July 23rd. I have not received my deposit back. I messaged the company directly prior to even staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, I had no other choice but to stay as I had already reserved the room. The company responded to my concern by blaming me for booking with them. They didn’t care about who received their deposits or not, and they could not answer why they need to hold deposits for so long after guests have checked out. They even referred to customers as greedy because they could book the hotel cheaply. This leads me to believe that the deposit is intentionally treated as additonal income for them. This company does not return your $200 security deposit. They also make it their policy to intentionally hold your deposit for 15 to 30 working days. Why would a company need to hold your deposit that long? Most likely, this is the time needed for you to not to be able to dispute the charge with the bank. If you have not received your deposit, please email me at simplifyacct@gmail.com. I will be pursuing a complaint.
Be warned: This hotel is not located at the address it claims. If you get there, they direct you to the "annex location" which you need a code to enter. They don't give you the code, and when you text them, they want to send you to a THIRD location. All of this in busy, downtown Napoli where driving is difficult. The locations are half a mile apart, so walking isn't a good option either. The people who run the restaurant next to the second location said that they are the only hotel in Napoli who behaves like this. We ended up just giving up and leaving town because the third location was just to get information for the second location, and we'd had enough. Now the hotel won't refund the room we never even got to see!

The room was clean and tidy . However, there was a strong smell of sewage inside the room , which made it unbearable to sleep in during night .

First of all, the reception is not in the same building, ok, i had to read the small text
. Second, there were 3 ladies at reception, they let us do the check-in on tablet, which didnt work. Then we had to wait for like 30 minutes until they finally did all the work needed, with faces lime we were burden. They took 5€ for cleaning, i had seen many rooms, however this wasnt clean at all. And there were some bugs in bathroom, i didnt take a picture of. I wouldnt recommend this experience from the begining until the end. At he end they took the deposit from our card. I dont know why, hopefully i would get the answer tommorow. I would recommend to hire new staff - at reception and also to clean.
Terrible customer service. We extended for one night and they made us check out then check in again. Leave for 5 hours and charged us to leave our luggage. And wanted to charge us more to move to the other room before 3pm. This place does not know what customer services is. Would never stay in any of their properties.
Awful customer service, check in woman is so rude. Plus they charge you €4 to hold a suitcase and €5 for a cleaning fee. Trying to charge for every little thing they can. Oh and they want this in cash.
