If you've been gifted with the wanderlust gene (no duh, you're here right?), then we're pretty sure you'll want to check out the wider South Gyeongsang region. Don't even think of heading home without visiting some of the region's gorgeous coastal plains. Ruins are also worth a peek. Also, take the opportunity to have a go at a few popular regional pastimes like mountain climbing.

Beer or champagne? However you prefer to roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Namwon, 50 kilometres away. With Namwon Recreational Forest and the Namwon National Gugak Center to check out, you'll have plenty to keep you busy. The Chunwangbong Pension and The Suites Hotel Namwon are a few of the hotel options here. Or, you could stay in Namhae, 50 kilometres to the south of Namsa-ri, where you'll find the Pension Manoa and Opera House Pension. If you're staying in Namhae, set aside some time to visit Nabi Saengtae Park and the Boriam Temple.

Daegu can be found 85 kilometres from Namsa-ri and has a population of 2,600,000. When you're here, you'd be mad if you didn't have a look at the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, Apsan Park and Dongsan Bowling Center. Got another day or so up your sleeve?
