Budget friendly stay in Jinju

Location was very close and within walking distance to the intercity bus terminal so was easy to find. We were staying for only one night whilst the annual Jinju lantern festival was taking place, so the hotel was right along the river where the festival was which was really convenient and we could see the lanterns from our bedroom window as well. Only downside was that the rooms were a bit outdated, the carpet was older and had a few stains and the bathroom had really poor drainage and had flooded the bathroom after a shower. Other than that, was suitable for a budget friendly one night stay.

This is my second time staying at the hotel and my only reason for staying is because they have a nice gym downstairs. But due to covid, they closed the gym To begin with, i had a reservation that was cheaper than the hotels price but they still charged me full price. They were able to refund me and charge me the online price The room was bad. The hotel uses central ac/heat, which is very rare for a hotel in Korea. My room was very hot so it was miserable sleeping there. They gave me a small fan but it didnโ€™t offer much except for blowing warm air. Youโ€™re wondering why i didnโ€™t open the window? I did! But the hotel is next to the water and if you open the window, mosquitos will engulf your room. That wasnโ€™t the worse part The room was very nasty! On several occasions i found both male and female hair in the bed, in the couch, in the bathroom, in the sink and on my pillow. Unacceptable!! There were also toenail clippings all over the floor. The mirrors were all smudged and not clear/cleaned properly. Besides that, the hotel is in a good location, when the gym is opens itโ€™s very nice and thereโ€™s a restaurant on the 9th floor. Overall, i wouldnโ€™t recommend this property
