After checking into the room we found out that none of the wall plugs were working to charge our phones after a long international flight. Told front desk about the problem and nothing was done about it. Poor service. Should have offered us a new room.

Would recommend for overnight stay in Jo’berg. Hotel is part of the airport and is a 5 min walk. You do not need to organise a transfer to the hotel. Just follow the signs from Arrivals. Room was large and clean. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Nice outdoor pool area with well priced food and drinks available.

We had a problem with our booking due to cancelled flights and the duty manager was so helpful. We asked for a quiet room and indeed the room overlooking the courtyard was very peaceful. The room as always was spotless and the bedding crisp and fresh. Loved the eco friendly toiletries too. Would thoroughly recommend City Lodge at O R Tambo.

Everything was great apart from Breakfast service. I booked stay with breakfast. Were there at 4am as flight out at 6am. Staff prepping at omelet/egg counter and totally blanked me and then 2 of them went to the back. Nobody came round to take my coffee order. Had toast and apple juice then left
