We have stayed at the City Lodge for 1 night. It’s clean and most staff are generally friendly. It’s easy to get to from the airport. You can walk to it if you’re reasonable fit. We also stayed at the sister City Lodge which cost less. It has a better breakfast and the staff are very friendly. You have to catch a cab there. My first choice would be the sister City Lodge 3km away

The convenience of walking to the hotel from international arrival and being able to comfortably overnight and return to the terminal for a morning departure without having to rely on transport, is amazing! The hotel is clean, rooms nice, restaurant excellent and staff very friendly.

Perfectly fine overnight between flights. Hotel restaurant was very reasonable for the quality, at least with the current exchange rate. The Intercontinental is swankier but also 4x the price

The hotel had good facilities, making for a comfortable and convenient stay. The dining experience was excellent, with a good range of options and great service. Ideal location for anyone needing a stopover or preparing for onward travel. Would definitely stay again.

Much nicer than I expected for the money. The lobby was very loud, maybe because the ceilings are so high. Also could here the music in our rooms even though we were on the 4th floor. With that heing said, the hotel was very, very nice

There is no hotel closer than this one if you’re looking for a stay near the Johannesburg airport. It’s attached to the airport and you are guided by signage the whole way.
