Book Mur hotels

This is a very lovely hotel. It exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfortable, very hospitable staff. The only downside is the heat control. The lowest heat setting is 20 degrees which much too hot for sleeping. The staff were apologetic and brought us a fan but we needed to have the windows open and the fan running so we could sleep and therefore couldn’t lower the window shutters to block the light. We stayed during the first week of May and the weather was very mild so not sure how we would have managed if it was hot.

There was no refrigerator in the room. The room was nice with high ceiling, but the space was not utilized well.

The staff at this hotel are so nice and friendly. The kitchen/common area is very efficient and well decorated.

Room was supposedly a premium room but was small with minimal views of surrounding rooftops. Breakfast was decent but not outstanding. Bar was limited

Excellent location for shopping and restaurants and very comfy bed all at a reasonable price. Wifi good. Note however that room air conditioner not working while outside air is "fresh" according to staff, but room was a bit warm so we had to open windows. The only problem with that is the noise all night from the street. Which probably explains why the hotel provides ear plugs next to the bed.

Great location in Bern near to the train station and right in the centre of Bern's Old Town. The staff were helpful especially Charles who helped with restaurant bookings and other queries. The rooms were nice and cleaned to a a very good standard. I would highly recommend staying here.
