You won't need to be stuck on the road all day to see a bit of nature. Just 30 kilometres out of Mukono, Mariba Forest is a terrific place to fill your lungs with fresh air. More idyllic surrounds await at Sesse Islands, 40 kilometres away.

Head 12 kilometres northwest to National Stadium to catch a thrilling live game of soccer. Located in Kampala, the stadium is the home of the Uganda national football team, so put on your red, black and white and cheer your heart out!
