What a beautiful hotel right in town along the river! Our room faced the river and we enjoyed the sounds of the rushing water and the people walking. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious. My daughter’s room faced the back. Her room was of a modern flair and very well done. She was able to open up her windows and enjoy the sounds of the young people enjoying their drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

Easily one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. Everything about Hotel Mondschein was incredible: rooms, staff, breakfast, showers and I can’t emphasize enough the comfort of their bed pillows. Everything was incredibly clean. It is in a prime location. Amazing price point. The people of Innsbruck are truly the best & the employees at this hotel are a perfect representation.

The only reason we didn’t give a 5-star rating was because of the lack of soundproofing from outside our room even though the windows were double glazed. This is understandable given how old the hotel is. The pillows also need a lot more “body” - folding mine in half actually helped. We loved the crystalline tiles in the bathroom with the lovely refraction or light. The staff were great.

This hotel and its staff are absolutely lovely. They provided several recommendations that were always spot on. They take pride in this jewel, which is now my favorite hotel of all time. The breakfast buffet is all locally sourced, the bar has self serve coffee and tea available 24 hours. The view over the river and Christmas markets, with the mountains in the background was breathtaking. It is very close to local transportation and the city center. In a great location for walking

I can't recommend Hotel Mondschein enough. It's ideally placed if you're in Innsbruck for the Christmas markets, with stunning views over the river and the Christkindlmarkt. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts first rate, but by far the best thing about it is the staff. They're all so friendly and helpful. We stay at the Mondschein every time we visit Innsbruck.

Amazing hotel on the river

Want a stunning little boutique hotel - loved it from the moment we walked in the door our checkin was smooth and super friendly and very helpful with services location and local knowledge there is a lift which is important the room was spacious enough for 4 of us with a separate toilet and best of all the view out our window on level 5 over the river to the Christmas markets blew us away the bar is cosy and the staff again incredible we love this hotel and would definitely come back

We stayed at Hotel Mondshein October 23rd, 2024. Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast area. Great area, walking distance to the oldtown. The best aspect of our stay was the staff. I had a health issue and required a doctor. The front desk staff Katerina and Rapna ( sorry if I've misspelled your names) went above and beyond to arrange treatment in a timely manner. Their kindness and professionalism was very much appreciated.

Beautiful historic hotel in the thick of the most visited area in Innsbruck. The staff bends over backward to be helpful, and the rooms and the hallways on each floor are different. Comfortable bedding, great on-site restaurant, although many other restaurants are in the area. We had a lovely view out our window looking toward the Alps. We would love to return and stay at this hotel again.
