In a place brimming with impressive art exhibitions, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the State Tretyakov Gallery somehow manage to stand out from the rest. If you're feeling inspired, continue onwards to the New Tretyakov Gallery - Museum of Modern Art and the Andrei Rublev Museum of Early Russian Art.

Get a glimpse into the impact that Moscow's past people and events had on the country, and sometimes the world, at the State Historical Museum and the Domodedovo History and Art Museum. You'll also discover eye-opening exhibits which help bring history to life at the Ivanteyevka Museum of History and Local Lore and the Memorial Museum of German Anti Fascists.

Get a sense of bygone times when you visit the Moscow State University and the Triumphal Arch. If you're eager for more, the Old English Court and Graveyard of Fallen Monuments are also worthwhile attractions.
