We enjoyed our stay but on our first night after driving all day we went to the lobby bar/ restaurant for a cocktail with friends who live in Montreal. Immediately we were told that the bar closed at 11pm with last call at 10:45. We ordered a drink and then one more for last call. Shortly after, the server asked us to leave as they were setting up for breakfast. The banquette that we were sitting at was unlikely to be used for breakfast but we left our drinks behind and exited. This seems rather rude and poor service for such a nice hotel and on a Friday evening. We were beyond shocked. Room and all other service was great.
