This was my first visit to Le Roberval, although I have considered going there in the past. Rolled the dice on them this time, and I was very satisfied with the result. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Slept like a baby for three nights and had plenty of room for my stuff. Couldn't get the microwave to work, which was aggravating, but having a fridge was really nice. Breakfast was very nice. The staff works very hard to keep things stocked and fresh. I would be glad to return to Le Roberval in the future.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while the overall look of the property was nice, there were a couple of serious issues that impacted our experience. First, parking is not on-site — it's located in a different building nearby, which was inconvenient, especially when arriving with luggage or in poor weather. Clearer communication about this in advance would have been appreciated. More concerning was that our room was double-booked. About an hour after we checked in and settled into our room, another guest used their key card and walked in — understandably confused. This was a major privacy and safety concern, and it left us feeling quite uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. While the staff were polite, this situation really affected our overall impression

The room is pretty clean. I am happy with the 1bd suite with separate door for the bedroom. The breakfast is good. Most important that the location is perfect for touring downtown Montreal. Most of the sites are just walkable distances. The hotel has almost no parking. You have to drive to the nearby public parking. The washroom needs some upgrades. All the rest are good!

Good value for the money

I chose to upgrade from one hotel to Le Roberval because I wanted to spoil myself - and I am glad I did as Montreal hit 35 degrees Celsius while I was there and my large room had EXCELLENT aircondition!

I was very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Roberval. It was very reasonably priced, especially considering that my room had a kitchenette and a full shower/tub. The room was clean, and I didn’t have any problem with noise. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the bus stop to/from the airport, a metro station, and a Bixi bicycle stand. Also close to restaurants, cafes, and Old Port.

Location is good, 5mins walking to nearest metro station, all other locations are nearby and just 14-20mins walking distance. Staff is good. Rooms were clean. Kitchen was good with all the needed utensils. Free continental breakfast was good. Overall very happy with the stay.
