If we hadn't have first stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, we probably would have found that the Elizabeth was completely acceptable. But... having had the exceptional service and quality of rooms at the Laurier first, the deficiencies of this hotel really stood out. While the rooms were clean, they didn't provide any free bottled water, and two of our party had rooms next to the elevators, which were very noisy. Cafe in the lobby was mediocre at best. Valet and concierge services were horrific - when we arrived we had to search for a valet / concierge to help us, and the service never got better. In fact, the day that we left, we waited for more than 15 minutes to pay for our parking, in a line of 5 people and no workers visible, and no one came up to help our family members with their luggage, after confirming that it would only be 10 minutes (they waited 40 before lugging everything down themselves, even though one guest was in a wheelchair). We won't stay here again.
