The resort was marketed at luxury but was a little underwhelming. It took hours for check-in and we were left to wait in an extremely hot lobby. The information was not clear on what kind of liquor was included in the package. The room was nice but not very clean once we checked in. The cleaning crew only came in 1 time to clean over our entire stay. I would say the best part of the resort was the food. I rate this resort 3/5.

Facilities-/ There were areas of peeling paint. Some of the furniture in the room looked a little abused. The blue mountain restaurant was great but the meal took quite a long time to arrive. The Asian restaurant was average. We didn’t participate in the Hibachi. The French restaurant was very good. Loved the entertainment. The foam party was a great hit. Loved the spa

I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness of our room, the pool bathrooms, or most of the bathrooms in general. It was my first time to the island so maybe most places on the island are more prone to mold but it was a bit much for me. We weren’t restocked with towels one day and it took awhile from room service to bring new. The beach, lobby and restaurants were always clean and taken care of. I did like that food was always available, and the buffets were good but we were disappointed in most dinners, especially for how long it would take to get our meals. Staff was always attentive, funny and nice. Performances and events were always good and there seemed to always be something going on. Everything was in a comfortable walking distance and the spa service was wonderful.
