Breakfast wasn’t free.. it’s £16 per person. Good choice though, hot and fresh. Rooms were located in a large newer build joined to the main hotel by a corridor overlooking the gardens. Lift is painfully slow!!

The hotel was old but decorated and finished to a great extent,rooms were clean and warm on a cold night and food and hotel staff were very good. Definitely will recommend this hotel to friends and family .

Room was great hotel was clean staff were ok only problem we had is at 7.15pm last night we could not get an evening meal in the restaurant as it was full which is fair enough how ever we could not get room service or any bar food as because of them being full in the restaurant they closed all other food orders at 7.15 pm, which meant we had to walk miles and eat out costing £88.00 where we could have spent that money in the hotel, it was such a shame as this is a really nice hotel we will not be staying again because of the food problems.

Superb hotel that has rooms that are spacious, really nice bathrooms and no noise. Highly recommend. Room only do can’t comment on breakfast. Look out for the Chester zoo offer

Comfortable 3-night stay.

There was a good choice for breakfast but the cooked items were not hot. The bar staff were great. I loved the bathroom with the separate bath and shower.

What an amazing and very spotless hotel wonderful decor from entrance to getting to our amazing room which was huge spotless and outstanding furniture even had proper potraits on walls four poster bed and tv in bathroom. Staff are amazing very helpfull and welcoming mattew at the bar was brilliant and reception team were amazing all in there uniforms

Convenient for train station. Breakfast was extra to the room rate. A great pity Best Western have taken away the Victorian lounge area for the garish modern pictures. It is difficult for larger group to sit together .
