A neighbourhood in Lisbon District, it's a brilliant base for exploring this impressive city's sights. The capital of Portugal is home to 500,000 people. Don't be afraid to get out and make friends with a few of them! Moita is 14 kilometres southeast of the city's centre. If you're arriving via Humberto Delgado Airport, hurl your suitcase in the back of a taxi and make your way 17 kilometres southeast.
There are a variety of attractions to see in the immediate area, such as the Volkswagen Autoeuropa and the Quinta do Panascal. If you'd really like to get a feel for this city, also stop by close-by suburbs such as Barra Cheia, Barreiro and Santo Andre.
No trip to Lisbon District is complete without seeing Castle of Sao Jorge. As far as amazing attractions go, it's up there with the best. It's situated just 0.4 kilometres from the centre of town.

First room had a broken AC, they moved us reluctantly after telling us to just “open the window” on the 11th floor on a busy street with crazy winds… and then once we moved rooms, the new room had a clogged bathroom sink.
