I did not like that there were no vending machines or snack area to grab anything late night or last second. Had to walk to the marquette to get those things. Pool also had no filtration so the water had mysterious debree floating around.

Good

Hate that the bathroom light is outside of the bathroom and also have had multi issues with the water getting hot. You need to let the water run for at least 5 minutes to get warm water. This is my second stay though and other than these two issues theres a starbucks in building. Its clean. Doesnt smell. Has pool. Close to lightrail Will come back

Receptionist was rude, when we got to the front desk she was on the phone, she put the person on the phone on hold, she looked up at me and said - Id and form of payment. No welcome, saying thank you for choosing the Weston, no enjoy your stay. Just rude. The app told me to park in ramp B. It was a freezing cold walk all the way to the hotel.

The television in our room did not work sound would come on but no picture on the screen. I was informed the engineer had already left for the night and was offered points or a Starbucks coupon. Neither of those were helpful in solving this issue or compensating towards my current stay. My check in went great, the room was clean, but unfortunately our time in our room was not enjoyable for my family.

Hotel was under construction, no main restaurant, clunky check in procedure. Guest room very very noisy with running water noises and old fan/machinery. Won't stay there again until all complete. Elevators and floor coverings very tired.

Good trip

It was a good trip, but a lot of the amenities at the hotel were shut down because they were under construction, including the restaurant, which is one of the reasons I booked this hotel

Dirty, no hot water, this walls. Unfortunately, our room was dirty, missing soap, and no hot water (we heard the boiler was out for “stack 11”). Thankfully, our room was switched, but maybe so was everyone else. There was so much yelling, slamming, and stomping from every direction- like a thin walled apartment. We at least had hot water…

Visit

We came up to go to the Packers vs Vikings game and Twolves vs Spurs game. Loved the place didn’t like that our rooms were not ready till after 5:00 or so. They said they were behind. We came into town and had to change from one event to the other and I didn’t want to walk back to our parking spot but i did. It worked out but extra running around because our rooms wasn’t ready but loved everything about the hotel. We will be back in the spring for baseball.

Mid-range hotel

Normally Westin properties offer a lot more. I was pretty underwhelmed by this one. The staff was pretty short and rude both over the phone and in person with the exception of the man running the desk at the lobby on Friday night. He was respectful and helpful. Even the restaurant staff was unattentive and rude. I know it's the off season, but very unexpected. Pool was in good shape. Bathroom was good. Room was overall clean. The bed was horrible. There was a big dip in the middle to where anything placed on the bed always rolled to the middle. I'm not going to say it was a bad stay, but definitely not up to Westin standards. Wouldn't stay there again.
