Although there aren't any hotels in Minami Ise's centre, there are 14 options within 30 kilometres where you can hit the hay (and maybe hit the mini bar).

Check out Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic and Hiogiso. They're as close as you'll get to central Minami Ise.

You may like to have a look at some alternative hotels, such as the Ise-Shima Royal Hotel or the SENPOKAKU. The former is positioned 30 kilometres from the central areas, and the second is 35 kilometres away. Make sure you cover all your bases by also taking a squiz at the Hotel Kintetsu Aquavilla Ise Shima, 25 kilometres away.

After more options? Hole up like a rockstar in Shima (just try not to trash the joint). Located 25 kilometres away and home to Anorisaki Lighthouse and Nakiri Shrine, it's bound to be a trip to remember! Alternatively, you could stay in Ise, 30 kilometres to the north of Minami Ise, where you can pick from the Core and Ise Guest House Kazamiso. Go 40 kilometres northeast and you'll find yourself in Toba, a regional centre with a population of 23,000. While you're checking out this neck of the woods, get your tourist on at Izawa Shrine, the Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium. Got some time on your hands? Check out the vibe at the Iwata Junichi, Ranpo & Yumeji Hall and Kotohira-gu Toba Bunsha Shrine. There are numerous great hotels where you can score a cosy room for a couple of nights in Toba. Have a squiz at the facilities at the Toba Kokusai Hotel Shiojitei and Toba Kokusai Hotel.

Having been scrunched up in a cabin seat all night, a nice warm bed at the Comfort Hotel Central International Airport will feel like a dream! If that doesn't quite cut it, suss out the Centrair Hotel. Both are within easy reach of Chubu Centrair International Airport, which is 75 kilometres from Minami Ise's centre.
