We stayed Thursday to Sunday and immediately identified the bathroom sink had no water coming out. I went to the front desk immediately they said someone would come to fix it.... no one showed up. Every day i complained that we had to buy bittled water to wash our hands and face, and brush our teeth. No one ever showed up. I asked for a discount refund (not even demanding a full refund) now I'm being told they will have to discuss with upper management and call me. They are ridiculous....same run around i got being a guest at their hotel. Never again will i stay here.

The hotel was great. The only issue was checkin. System was down and it didn’t come back up. One staff member said he couldn’t do anything until system was back up - which it still was not up 8 hours later. One staff member did allow us to check in manually thankfo.

Food was basic hotel breakfast eggs, half cooked sausage, waffles, hot & cold cereal. My problem was the fact that I was trying to check in early because we arrived 1hr early from driving 14hrs to only have the system crash. So we ran to the store to grab some items for our room. After one hour they started trying to check people in manually by paper but a lot of the rooms wasn’t even cleaned by housekeepers or they had already given the room away to someone else because bags were in the room. We didn’t get into a room until after 5:30pm. They need to train their workers on how to handle customers better during hectic situations like this. Then the last night it rained which water was coming into our room from the ac unit and down the wall in the corner from the second floor. I thought by booking outside of the city of milwaukee would have been better but I guess not. The bathroom had a mildew-musty smell to it. And the tv didn’t have many channels that did work. I say book at your own risk.

Went to the hotel "market" asked how much everything was. Employee was on his personal phone and he said it's different. Asked about candy bar prices told small ones were $2. Go to ring out and it's almost $7. Questioned the price and was told these weren't the candy bars that were $2. Long story short, he refused to get off his phone to assist, wouldn't honor the price, wouldn't check back for more of the supposed smaller candy bars, and lastly said my request for a manager wasn't allowed.

Our stay was overall good. The room was clean and stayed cool with the air conditioning. The pool/ floor surrounding was not very clean and didn’t seem to be kept up. The free breakfast was good and they had a good selection to choose from.

Go to check in and couldn't check in 30min early or had to pay $50 more. By time we can check in at 4 the system goes down. They couldn't run cards until system was back up so I gave them my Credit Card info, because I originally reserved with my Debit Card. Once the system came back up my Debit was charged 4x 2 different amounts and my Credit Card was charged 3x with 3 different amounts. I noticed the transactions so when I go to check out the lady says you had 2 nights (Umm no 1 night), then says there is another Amber in the system, weren't you here last month (Umm no, not the right Amber). Never again with this hotel. We go to the room and they only have 1 elevator. Once we get to the room, the bathroom was not clean, bracelet left on counter as well dirty. There was barely any water pressure or hot water for the shower.

The lobby/ breakfast area and rooms were nice enough, BUT….. They had some big plumbing maintenance issues that affected 50 some guest rooms . I can’t believe they didn’t know about it before we checked in. We were given a first floor room, there was 2 inches of water in the bathtub. We pulled the drain plug and it took an hour to drain. We reported the issue and were advised a plumber would come the next morning. He didn’t. They told us we could move to another room, we didn’t want to because of all the luggage we had. We assumed they could resolve the issue relatively soon. They couldn’t and had to relocate 50 rooms. We were then forced to move , we were not given a first floor room and were give a room about as far away from the elevator as possible, very inconvenient for moving all of our luggage. We asked the manager Angel for a discount for the inconvenience, no response from her and she was not there when we checked out. Breakfast was ok, the scrambled eggs seemed watery and they ran out of several food items on 2 of the 4 mornings we were there.

Great beds (slightly soft topper but firm underneath), clean, nice staff and food furnishing. Some aspects of the space are slightly worn, but the furnishings are in good shape. Would return happily.

Dr. Appointment

Booked 2 rooms for a doctor appointment at Froedert Hospital that was only about 4 miles away. Fast, easy check in. Both king bed rooms were both spacious and comfortable. It’s an older hotel but in very nice condition. Could not beat the price. I would definitely stay here again.
