It's 220 kilometres north of Paris, the country's capital.

A stop off at Marck, 25 kilometres northwest, is on the itinerary of many. There's heaps to keep you busy here, including the Les Six Bourgeois and the Musee des Beaux-Arts et de la Dentelle.

In the mood for a little time out with Mother Nature? Dig out your car keys and take off to Cap Blanc-Nez, 40 kilometres from Millam. Alternatively, inhale some fresh air at Cap Gris-Nez, 45 kilometres away.
