The property is clean, updated and location is very convenient, but rooms are very small, even for an updated room. The best thing about this property is the roof top bar/restaurant. It has a nice panoramic view of the Duomo di Milano

Tight hotel in Italy!

Construction in front of my window.. that’s my view! no one tells us that.. noisy in the morning! Beware! Not much amenities.. breakfast is OK, I rather eat outside more choices.. a view OK. Room small. I have to request for another room to fit our luggage! outdated furniture’s. not a fan of an entrance, so TINY!!! everything is tiny! There is this picture in the elevator supposed to be the view on the 13th floor, I actually thought that was our hotel, but it is only the view to look at @night. Not our hotel..It’s not a pretty building..😬

We did not receive any extras for our VIP status. The rooms were low floor and far away from each other I requested connecting or close to each other rooms but did not accommodate. On leaving, requested taxi to train station . they told us we had to come downstairs to request it. It made us late and missed train . left jacket in closet. They found it but want me to pay 100 euro for sending it to me ?!! area in front of hotel is a mess and not accessible

Good location, but more more attention needed.

Nice friendly staff, but did t pay attention when checking me in, didnt get and upgrade as per my gold status, ( but maybe it wasn't available so could live with my choice) but also didnt have a bottle of wine in my room as promised. So overall a bit disappointing as there are no attention to detail.

Not what it used to be…

Uptown palace used to be super consistent and I’ve stayed there numerous times over the years. The location is great, but sadly now, that’s all that’s going for it. The room smelled when I check in, the carpets are old, mold in the corners of the bathroom shower and fixtures need a lot of TLC. Top it all off the soundproof rooms are NOT soundproof to the outside. I could hear every conversation, car horn and siren. I had to crank a noise machine to sleep. That being said the bed was pleasant and the a/c worked great! A big plus for Italy!
