The hotel was very nice but the front desk people had no idea the F1 race was in town. That seemed really weird since the hotel was hosting a sponsor for F1. They need some training. They did not have an iron or US plugs. Domenico was great and helpful along with the belhops.

Reasonably well appointed hotel close to the Piazza del Duomo. Quite noisy with traffic and trams passing by. The standout feature is the rooftop bar and restaurant - nice views, good cocktails, food and wine. Atmosphere ruined by relentless zombie boom boom music. Organisation of course Italian so don’t be surprised when the restaurant has no record of the reservation you went there in person to make 4 hours earlier. As happened to me.

Stayed in the room facing the main street and could hear trams running until midnight. Smoke detector in the room flashing green light disturbed sleep as well. Breakfast was minimum standard and the worst part was my latte which caused me vomiting and diarrhoea on the way to the station. We only managed to get on the train one minute before departing. The staff served my coffee also had terrible smell!
