It lies 320 kilometres to the northeast of Pretoria, the capital city of South Africa.
Go beyond Mica and you'll come across some wonderful natural sights. Just 45 kilometres away, Blyde River Canyon is an excellent spot to fill your lungs with fresh air. Also consider exploring Kruger National Park Phalaborwa Gate, 40 kilometres away from Mica.
Travel 25 kilometres to the south and you'll reach Hoedspruit. It's home to some excellent sights, including the Jessica the Hippo and Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate.
The Printing Museum, the House Museum and the Diggings Museum are all pretty close to Pilgrims Rest, 85 kilometres to the south. Need a few more reasons to check it out? The Alanglade House Museum and the Central Garage Transport Museum aren't far away either.
