We can all agree that travel is life. So pack your bags, kiss your dog goodbye and take yourself off to Mežaparks! A neighbourhood in Riga, it's a great base for discovering this buzzing city's sights. Want to meet some locals? With around 750,000 people living in the capital of Latvia, you'll have loads of opportunities. To get to Mežaparks from Riga International Airport, hail a taxi, dump your bags in the boot and travel 14 kilometres to the northeast. If you're arriving from the city centre, you'll need to venture 7 kilometres northeast.

A good number of this city's attractions are dotted near Mežaparks, and Three Brothers and St. Peter's Church are some of the most impressive.
