Amazing place, highly recommended.

What an amazing experience at Gran Hotel. From the moment you step in the lobby you'll be welcomed by one of the ushers that take care of guests. For us it was Isaías that showed us around and took us to our room. We had a zócalo view and the room was beautiful. We got a champagne welcome and received a bottle of wine and a custom made desert plate with our name on it written in chocolate in our room. Thank you to all of the personnel that made our stay so comfortable.

It was such an AMAZING stay. The beds our comfortable. Location is perfect and there are tons of things to do and see that are walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is incredible. Emmanuel, Isaiah, and front desk staff were so helpful. It really takes you back to the early 1900s. The place is so well kept and preserved. I can't wait to come back. Oh and do yourself a favor and book a balcony view! You will not regret it.

We arrived around 8am and couldn’t check-in due to no room availability. Staff made sure we felt comfortable and gave us access to the lounge where we spent a few hours resting with access to bathrooms and snacks. Shortly, by 11am our room was ready. Our accommodation here has been beyond spectacular!

This is our second time here. Staff is really nice especially all the doormen. This time around was a little different. We love our ac very low and unfortunately we had to change rooms because the temperature wouldn’t get cold enough. The second room got a few degrees colder but not how we would prefer it. Both bathrooms tubs need a little makeover. Nonetheless we loved our stay. Water pressure is super strong and the water got really hot. The tvs are all smart tvs which we love. It’s a very clean hotel. It’s close to a lot of stores and restaurants.

This hotel is one of a kind. It is a beautiful property, the rooms were extremely clean, the service was great, and the view from our was it was amazing from our room. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We will be staying there again.

Beautiful and great service but noisy

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and historic. The service was impeccable and the location was right on the Zocalo. The only problem was that it was right on the Zocalo, though. Every night there was a light show at 8 and 9:30 that each last an hour and was very loud. It was also difficult for our taxi from the airport to get to. Because there’s a lot of shopping and events in the area it also tended to be loud until late at night. I’m glad we stayed there because it is beautiful, but I would probably stay at a different hotel next time to be away from all the noise.
