Don’t stay here. Stay at a much better location just down the street called Suites Del Angel. Price is only about $10-15/night more but you won’t be disappointed like I was here. Exe Suites San Marino is not as advertised. Very deceiving photos online, AC is just blowing air around, windows don’t have a proper seal so room gets extremely warm, cracks in flooring bathroom shower leaking water….very run down!

Great hotel very close to “little Tokyo”

The staff are wonderful. San Marino is what I would call a no frills hotel. It is very old and in need of a full renovation, but it nonetheless has all the basics needed by budget conscious tourists or business people. They are slowly making upgrades, notably the elevators which have just been completed. I have been coming here for years and prefer San Marino over other similarly priced hotels.

Rundown Hotel but with Excellent Service

Very central hotel, great price for the area. It's just very very old and outdated on the inside, to the point that the rooms can't be properly cleaned because of it. ie: torn and stained carpets, scratched and broken door frames, water stained tile in the bathroom, missing sink topper, leaking shower, scratched and stained tables/wood features. It is very run-down. Besides the condition of the room - the service, location and price were great.

I enjoyed my stay at The Exes Suite San Marino Hotel. Though the actual apartment suite is more dated looking in person than in the photos, the suite was nonetheless clean and comfortable. The king size bed we had was comfortable and I slept very well. The property neighbors to a festive restaurant that either plays live music or reasonably loud tunes. There’s an Oxxo right across the street, many cafes and restaurants nearby, or the wonderfully priced food street vendors that is equally delicious. This hotel is ideally located especially with the main avenue of La Reforma. If I return to Mexico City, I would definitely re-book with Exes Suites San Marino.
