Our stay at Crowne Plaza was overall average and unfortunately did not fully meet expectations. The biggest issue was at reception — one of the front desk ladies was quite rude and not welcoming, which created a poor first impression. Customer service at check-in should feel friendly and helpful, but that was not our experience. Housekeeping and cleanliness also need improvement. The room had a noticeable bad smell, and the carpet did not appear clean. Overall cleaning standards were below what we expected from a hotel of this level. Breakfast was another disappointment, as the same items were served every day with very little variety. Additionally, no complimentary water was provided in the room. When I asked reception, I was told to purchase a small bottle from the vending machine for $3, which felt unreasonable for hotel guests. One positive point: the kitchen staff were excellent — polite, helpful, and hardworking. They were the highlight of our stay. Overall, the experience was average, and improvements in customer service, cleanliness, and guest amenities would make a big difference.

Excellent value for the area. Property is secured but parking lot is not. Walkable to restaurants & shops, right now Milbrae Bart station. Room is comfortable with soft towels &a coffee machine, safe but surprised our standard room does not have a frig. (Only deluxe does) but front desk offered to keep our things & blue ice cold in their frig. It’s an easy in and out kind of inn, good for a short stay before an early flight.

It was a very comfortable and relaxing room, we would definitely book on our next stay, highly recommend the restaurant, we had eggs Benedict and a burrito for breakfast! Definitely drop the fork destination dishes!

Staff was very friendly but this hotel is a the worst hotel I have stayed at in over 20 years of in international travel. No hotel in the 21st century should be this squalid.

The best part of the stay was the friendly staff. The breakfast is standard for a motel. The rooms are dirty and the pillows are incredibly lumpy and firm. Bring your own pillow if you plan on staying here.
