The room were absolutely disgusting, they all smelled like cigarettes, the rugs in the room were nasty and very dirty. Our experience with our kids with the Fairmont was not good, the check in staff and the manager was very rude. They had a power outage for 4 hours in the middle of the night the day we landed and had planned to do Umrah. The staff knew about it but didn’t mention it at the time of check in however dropped of a flyer 15 mins after check in stating that it’s a maintenance issue and had to be done. We stayed here last year as well and our experience was very different but this time I would say that I would never stay here again. There are plenty of hotels in the clock tower which are much nicer and cleaner and will provide better service than Fairmont. They prefer Saudi’s over any other nationality. We had a Kaaba view but all we could see is the top of the Kaaba. Never again!

Very close to haram excellent breakfast very happy with upgrade breakfast on our last day that was a treat for us . Rooms big and spacious and clean plenty of toiletries supplied . The only issue we had was noise from next room only on our last night we had noisy next door people a dn most of noise was coming from connecting door which was closed but could hear them till late night the hotel needs to make them more sound proof

The room had 4 beds in it. Wr asked for the 5th bed to be removed. The decor is a bit old now. Very basic. The breakfast was awful. Not five star. The edcor was bad, the choice in food awful. Things had run out and juices were not fresh. Very poor quality

We were planning to have umrah with my 82-year old father. He was hospitalized right before the trip. He had heart surgery. Although, I contacted before the stay and supply all the paperwork they refused to refund the money. Now, I dispute the charges with the bank. Not recommended at all. Stay away from this hotel.
