The picture is not of the apartment we rented. About 12 hours before we departed for Madrid, we received a phone call from Madflats that the apartment we rented was not available but they did find us another apartment in the general area. The apartment they found for us was fine and we had no problems with it. Communication was a problem at time. They gave us 2 phone numbers to call them, but neither number worked. They did say later they were having phone problems. We were finally able to contact them using the international number they had called us on the morning of our departure. After all this, we did enjoy our stay in the apartment.

Madrid for Pride

Loved the location which was so central and the apartment size and amenities. Very comfortable and a couple of bottles of flavoured water waiting in the fridge at check in was hugely appreciated with the outside temperature in the 90s....very smooth check in

Madrid trips

This is a great apartment! Centrally located in the heart of the city with many enjoyable markets and restaurants up and down the street. The balconies open out to the streets allowing the comforting busy city sounds in, yet when closed it still keeps a nice private and quite feeling. The electronic entry was easy at the lower main door entrance, but a bit difficult at the actual apartment door, but we found it worked well if you keep turning the knob to the right 4-5times it does ooen fine.There were a few oddities like a missing window blind and a loose wall outlet in the bathroom, but the larger refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher are a bonus. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and certainly wished our stay was longer. Thank you very much.
