Management was extremely rude and asked me why I put my do not disturb sign on my door when I had dogs that were familiar with their staff. I stayed for many days and they had previous days deposits on hold. However, I payed for a longer stay and then explain I would make the new deposit on my way to work that I was getting ready for work. They didn't wait and barged in my room while I was in the shower. Not only did they made me extremely uncomfortable they made me feel like I did something wrong. In addition one staff member there, the gentenlman who was the one that worked that morning, was so rude when I came to the front desk he continued to take a phone call with his significant other and didnt acknowledge me or ask me to give him a moment to finish his call he rudly just continued on. The management acts like they own the place and the wife walk the halls making it an uncomfortable feeling by unwanted glares and facial expressions. I

Staff was courteous. The heating and cooling unit in the room was quite dated and not entirely easy to operate. Overall, it was worth the money and a decent hotel.

When we checked in LaQuinta in Madison we noticed the pungent odor of marijuana near the elevator shaft and in the hallway. Our room which was next to the elevator also smelled of marijuana, the hotel was supposed to be 100% smoke free. We got comfortable in our room which seemed very spacious and clean so I got under the covers ready to relax and watch a movie, but all I had was sound and no picture. I went to the phone to let the desk know but when I dialed there was no dial tone! I used my cell to call the operator who gave me the number to the desk. They gave us another room which was nice, and clean but that room didn’t have a phone in it either. There was no information regarding restaurants, places to visit, or sites to see in the area. The beds were comfortable and the hotel did have a great breakfast buffet in the morning.
