Firstly, the two ladies in reception were lovely. That's the only good part. We paid $860 for two nights accommodation. There was no food included in this price, not even a continental breakfast. The venue is over 20 years old and it shows. It is run down. The pool and hot tub were putrid and stained. We went on a hot weekend and couldn't use these facilities. The day spa was closed for renovations and operated out of one of the rooms. The restaurant is closed. There are signs saying the plumbing is getting fixed and there is no heating (luckily we did not need it, a small portable heater was put in the room.). There is no internet or wifi connections. Remembering we paid over $400 a night for this. We were so appalled we cancelled our second night which resulted in ruining our long weekend. An email to management thanked us for our feedback and stated they would let the owners know. Extremely disappointing.

Good Stay

Stayed in a Deluxe Room. Room was nice, clean and had enough space. Staff are very friendly as well. Only two downsides, one being that there's no Wi-Fi. In saying that, we were barely in the room. Secondly, you can hear the spa jets in adjacent rooms if they're on. In the hotels defence however, they do ask that you don't turn it on after 10pm. Not their fault some people can be inconsiderate.

The stay was good, and the reception desk was very friendly. Check-in is easy, and lots of parking. The room was big enough, although I would have liked extra towels in the room. It was great to have a microwave, toaster, and kettle in the room, but I didn't feel comfortable washing my dishes in the bathroom sink. Keep in mind if you are coming up on a Tuesday. Most shops and some restaurants are closed. Hotel staff were helpful and recommended a few eateries.

The property condition is average, spa is impressive, cleanliness is good . Shower is leaking. The location is in the middle of nowhere, have to drive 7 km to the restaurant and supermarket. Surrounding area so dark , no lighting on the road.
