When chucking a sickie becomes your new norm, it's time to break free from the nine-to-five and say hello to Lure!

From Lure, travel 110 kilometres to the southeast to get to Bern, an important city. You can also head 160 kilometres to the east to discover another major city, Canton of Zurich.

Take a long, deep breath and soak up the natural surroundings of Bol d'air. It's located 45 kilometres away from Lure. You can also find some quiet time at Grande Cascade de Tendon, 50 kilometres away.

There's nothing quite like leaping out of bed and carving through fresh, fluffy snow at Schnepfenried Ski Resort. Once you've hit all the trails there, pack up your gear and continue onwards to Le Markstein Ski Resort.

Frahier-et-Chatebier, 19 kilometres to the east, is known for the Lion of Belfort and Belfort Cathedral. Why not make your way there and go to these wonderful attractions? Or, you could stop at Chagey, 19 kilometres to the southeast of Lure, for Église du Sacré Cœur and the Musée de l’Aventure Peugeot.
