Quick stay in London, lucky enough to have picked the Clermont. Convenient for the tube and train. The breakfast was top shelf and the staff were super attentive and helpful.

Jumped in the shower before going out in the evening, within seconds the water was pouring over the edge of the shower pan because the drain was blocked - I informed reception as I left for tea. When I came back something had been worked on, as there was debris all over the toilet that hadn't been cleaned up, that was pretty grim. Had a shower in the morning, drain still blocked, water over the edge, hair coming out of the drain, wretch. Told reception again, their reaction "oh that's rubbish", that was it. Not what I'd expect from a hotel with such usually polite staff. The bed was frustrating too, two singles clipped together, however one was a few cm higher than the other, so if I rolled onto it, it was really uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at The Clermont hotel. The room was clean, the hotel itself was also clean and well kept. Great location and even though it is connected to the train station we never heard any trains or excessive noise from it. We did have an issue with our shower not draining properly and it was resolved quickly.

The staff are excellent .room was big and clean. Breakfast needs improving and had to wait for a table for half an hour and told to comeback . Disappointing if your paying few hundreds of pounds too when running water stopped .
