Very nice stay. Hotel Mirabeau is only an eight minute walk from the main train station -- most importantly, it is a relatively flat eight minute walk in steeply hilly Lausanne, so it is easy to get to and from the station. Given that Lausanne is an excellent base for lots of wonderful day trips around Lake Geneva and beyond, it can be very useful to have easy access to the train station. Anyway, my room was good sized, colorful, and pleasant. I had a big balcony, which was a nice surprise. There was a slight musty smell, probably from the radiators (it was winter), without a window or balcony door cracked. That's probably why I withheld the fifth star -- but I had a really nice stay and thought Hotel Mirabaeu was an attractive and appealing base for five nights in Lausanne, which is a great place.

One centric hotel

It was amazing experience everything was train distance to go tàking the boat to Evian then a cruise around the lake, going to chateau was incredible, the hotel is at 6 mis walking to the train and metro. It is very nice and clean and have evrrything you need. Strongly recommend

Beautiful place

Wonderful but I don’t understand why Hotel.com took €100 for the booking and why hotel.com advertised a pool when there is none. You should too tell us that to eat at the restaurant you have to book in advance. That’s the 2d time that I had problems with Hotel.com!!!

A fantastic building. Lots of historical features kept. The room was very comfortable. The little bar served well priced drinks which came with a toblerone pyramid. The restaurant was just what we needed at the end of the day. Menu was faultless. Never eaten perch before. Will try to get it in the UK. Isn't that what holidays are all about? Something new. And last but not least the wonderful reception staff Thank you.
