Family accommodation in Littau

Excellent accomodating staff - informative when I asked for tours, hop on hop off bus - didn’t have but had a little train - best money spent, was cheap, informative & for someone who has walking mobility issues was excellent Even had the extra 4 x pillows I asked for to sleep Loved the whole experience with this property Wish all of Europe locations had something like this near train -5-8 min walk away But great concept Great room Excellent location so close to train & in the heart of all attractions, old city, food & shopping Made our experience magical Great breakfast, Anytime tea, coffee, microwave & fridge in communal dining area Great concept always clean & maintained

Perfect for a train station. I had a top-floor suite that was large and a change after the cramped Viking cruise.

If i would have to describe a perfect hotel stay it will be Hotel Des Balances. We came with a car, and we were so pleasantly surprised that we literally drove through the old city, it feels like you are living in the center of the best place in the city. the staff was super friendly, and the hotel was the most perfect place we ever been to. it's like somebody combed every inch and every experience a visitor will have and asked him/her self - how can this be perfect. I mean perfect room, amazing bar with a view of the river, beautiful vistas from the rooms, walkable to literally anywhere in 3 min or less. We saw tourist tour stop in front of the hotel and talk about the building. We've been to Lucerne 4 times already (from California) and this is from now on our number 1 place.

Staff are very helpful, room is clean and great breakfast. Hotel is close to everything.

Great location. 5 minutes from Luzern SBB on a quiet street. Room had able space and was very clean. Front dest was firedly and informative.
