The hotel staff were very nice and our room was modern, clean and well organized. The breakfast room is large and has a lot of variety, so a great way to start the day. It also has a TV to watch news, if desired. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path (about 15 to 20 minutes’ drive from the waterfront), but since Uber and Bolt rides are so affordable, those were an easy way to get around. The street is very quiet and there’s a bank on the corner. If in Lisbon again, we would stay at the Holiday Inn Express Lisbon - Plaza Saldanha again!

This hotel specifically advertised Smart TV and it did not have a Smart TV or any option to stream or cast. The TV wasn’t even connnected to the internet. Front desk staff were completely unhelpful. The carpet was disgusting and stained. The towels were old and dingy. The room smelled. Expedia refused to help us get a partial refund after the hotel refused to do anything about these issues.
