Superb location and attentive staff. Wish there was a mini fridge in room and elevator only starts at 1st floor which would make it hard for folks w mobility issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

This is on a very busy street, on a Wednesday night there were street musicians playing loudly until midnight. At 7am they were pulling tables out on the street for breakfast. If you are sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. Our friends had smaller rooms where the shower door goes directly into the room which is strange. We had a larger room with a separate bathroom but there was no shower door or curtain so the entire bathroom floor was flooded. Also there is no staff at night. One night the fire alarm went off and it was extremely confusing. The firemen eventually came but no one communicated if we should evacuate or what.

Although this hotel was close to the main area downtown it was on a side street, not well light and had some shady characters sitting all along the curb outside. Staff is not there at night so beware! Our last night there someone set the fire alarm off at 1am in the morning. Pretty sure the place does not have standards like our country because we sat outside on the curb for 15 before another fellow Canadian called their emergency number because no one was coming and we could smell something burning. Following her call the fire dept was there within 10 minutes and no one spoke English. We were not compensated at all! I would pick somewhere else in the vicenity just not this place!

The receptionist at time of check-in Lis was wonderful!! Friendly, welcoming and very helpful! The person at the desk when I retrieved my bags Tuesday afternoon was the complete opposite. The room itself was nice, clean and spacious. The location was great as well!

Beatriz at the front was super kind and helpful. My room was small with not much room to move around but clean and well appointed. Enough space for one person but not for two. No food options available. No view out my window but others may have one. Complimentary water and wine/pastry in room was a nice touch. Super easy to walk anywhere. I would stay here again or maybe at the larger lodge. Recommend.

We liked the location to many sites and restaurants near by. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to get us what we needed and give us information about the area. Beds were comfortable. To take note the lift was one floor up from the main reception desk but the staff helped with our luggage, which was nice, also when we checked out. The room could use a full length mirror, a small fridge, and only one small night table beside one of the beds could use 2. Thank you to the friendly staff!

It was in a great location everything on the doorstep yet you couldn't hear any noise off the street at night.There was a welcome pack consisting of local pastries and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room.The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke english. The room was very clean and had everything we needed and a safe .We had breakfast at their sister hotel only fve minutes away where there was a good selection of hot and cold food and drink accompanied by excellent friendly service for at a set price.Everthing was just perfect for our stay.I would certainly stop there again and recommend it .

The location is as central as central gets. I cannot describe it any further. It’s entrance is located on a sidestreet where you can be dropped off conveniently by uber/bolt. It is walking distance to a metro station. Be aware of the single flight of stairs before the elevator. Lastly

Convenient ecological hotel

The hotel is situated in the very convenient location. It is surrounded by the restaurants and shopping area. Metro to airport is 2 minutes walk and the famous square is 3 blocks away. The hotel focuses on the sustainability and ecology. 2 pastel da nata and a small bottle of wine welcomed me when I entered the room. Keys are digital, so you don’t have to worry to carry it around and lose it. Staffs were very friendly, and I chat with them everyday. They offered a complimentary cocktail. The entrance to the hotel appears to be a bit dodgy alley, but I was fine in and out of the hotel alone even at night. It’s a bit noisy during the weekend due to the rowdy tourists on the street late at night. Bring ear plugs.
