You don't need to go too far to take in some nice natural sights. Load up the car and head to Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes, 17 kilometres away from Lichte, for a relaxing day. Or maybe Marienglashöhle is more your thing? You'll find it 45 kilometres away.

If you're the sort of traveller who loves becoming immersed in the vibe of the place you're visiting, DKB-Ski-Arena Oberhof should be number one on your to-do list. Investigate what live games are on during your trip and roar along with keen local sports fans. You'll find the facility 40 kilometres away in Thuringian Forest.
