Communication with the host at least initially was poor as I hadn't received the initial check in code key info and finally had to call VBRO who got in touch with the host Natalia. I'd also like to point out that once we were in the house Natalia was very responsive to my many requests. Now for the house issues. The SPA tub was very dirtly to the point of none of us were going to use it. Rocks seen on bottom as well as residue, cloudy water etc and some dirty paper plates left on the side of it. I infomed Natalia and she sent out pool guy who cleaned up the SPA and told us heater was not working as some heating element was not working. Under the circumstance, I asked Natalia if she could as least have the pool heated which she did remotely. That at least saved the day. She was also helpful in allowing us an early check in on Friday for which I am grateful. Now for some unpleasant stuff ie. a dirty dish towel was left on the kitchen sink and overall cleanup left alot to be desired. Not enough paper towels, not enough trash bags, no sponges to clean the dishes. Yes, I could have asked Natalia but was dealing with more pressing issues with her regarding the Neon lights. We were unable to turn them off causing my son and his wife who were staying in the room with no solid door to sleep through the night with the lighs on. Problem resolved on day 2 by the use of a remote control which we had no idea the lights were turned on and off with a remote in that bedroom.
