Very quaint Adirondack cabin, a harken back to 1960’s family vacations, nice setting in Lake George village. Not ce alternative to higher priced fall foliage hotels. Good off-season highway access. Clean & cozy, but also needs attention - headboard fell off the bed when plugging into the wall, sink drain very slow, missing lightbulbs, bathroom floor & drapes could be replaced. Outside areas look nice.

When we checked in we noticed that the room had a terrible odor. When we talked to the manager and told them we couldn't stay in the room, he said that they just had the carpet cleaned and it was still wet. They did give us another room, but it was a downgraded room (not as many amenities. It didn't have the kitchenette I had wanted the room for.

The property was great for a weekend in lake George and within walking distance to town. The pool area was very nice and my kids loved it. The staff was very friendly along with the cleaning staff. We will definitely return.

A well-kept, classic old Lake George Motel! Owners were super nice and helpful and I had a great nights sleep! Comfy new mattresses and updated bathroom….cozy and attractive property with places to enjoy the babbling brook and bbq. Pool looked great but we didn’t get a chance to try it. Will definitely go back!

I'll keep coming back!

The Brookside is darn peppy with a great location on the edge of town. It's nice and comfy, with friendly owners and a great location next to the brook. Still has old-school charm without the rough edges that a lot of seasonal-town resorts tend to have. Noce pool, too.

It was very conveniently located, and the pool was one of the cleanest pools I’ve ever been to! Great motel and me and my fiancée will be coming back again! The staff was so nice! The room was super clean - all around a nice place to stay

It was fine for the price. It was clean with a nice clean pool. Our bathroom walls could use some repair and a coat of paint but sink and toilet were new and clean. Shower/tub wasn't new but was clean and functional. Personally, I wouldn't prepare food in the kitchen because it is like an old cabin kitchen and not very appealing. I did borrow a knife from in there for my peanut butter. Very nice owners and staff - right off route 87. 5 minutes from Lake George village/lake. Our room (#2) had a deck overlooking the brook and sitting out there was very pleasant.
