Fabulous Restored Townhouse in Lagos Old Town With Panoramic Roof Terrace.

The Casa Amendoeira is a newly renovated townhouse within the historic town walls of Lagos and only a few minutes walk to all amenities and beaches.

It is not the usual 'holiday' accommodation: the Casa has been lovingly restored, furnished and equipped to create a beautiful and comfortable 'home from home' for our guests. Warm colours, paintings by local artists, Moroccan furnishings and lamps greet the visitor on arrival. The two bedrooms (double and twin/double) are quiet, cosy and have very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped with electronic devices and a good assortment of kitchen tools, upstairs is a bright and spacious open plan sitting room with dining area, with a comfortable wood-fired stove (for the winter months!) and from there outside steps lead from a balcony up to our beautiful 360° view roof terrace which is perfect for relaxing, sunning and just having a good time. Ideal for all year-round sunbathing as Lagos receives over 300 days of brilliant blue skies per year.

That said, the electric power of the Casa Amendoeira is mostly gained from a solar panel on the roof that can produce 1700KWh/per year. Further, the house is equipped with an A++ washing machine and an A+++ refrigerator and dryer. For keeping you warm in winter, we installed infrared heaters that are also powered by our solar panels.

Please be aware that in the historic center of Lagos, where our holiday home is located, there has been an increase in construction and renovation activities in recent years. Consequently, there is a possibility that construction or renovation work may take place in the neighborhood, which as landlords, we cannot foresee or influence. If you highly value tranquility during your stay, we recommend considering this when choosing accommodation in the "centro histórico". We are always committed to ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay for you and are happy to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.
